The World Bank-s Blueing the Black Sea Program (BBSEA) aims to support the creation of a shared regional framework for sustainable management of the Black Sea. The program is implemented jointly with the governments of Bulgaria, Georgia, Moldova, Romania, Türkiye and Ukraine. TheBBSEA Program focuses on economics, marine pollution and ecosystem restoration,sustainable fisheries and aquaculture, blue jobs, regional cooperation andcapacity building.The activities under this assessment aim to enhance the potential for methane emission reductions through identifying innovative (private sector) solutions on mitigating Black Sea pollution.The assignment shall thus resultin:· The Identification of measures with highpotential for methane emissions reduction· An increased understanding of methane reductionpotential of assessed measures· Strengthened public and private sector preparedness for methane reductionmeasures· Increased awareness on methane reduction priorities· Enhanced knowledge on innovations on methane reduction
