- Expression of Interest are invited for Analysis of Tourism Trends and Infrastructure Gap Analysis for Selected Sites. ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION: Tourism is a major driver of Georgia's economic growth and diversification through job creation and fostering sustainable , resilient and inclusive development. However,, despite the overall positive changes in the tourism sector, some challenges and gapsremain, with strategic investments in infrastructure development still required (with a clear understanding of resilient, inclusive and sustainable approaches) for managing and positioning the tourism sector going forward and put Georgia into a leading position in the competitive market. Within this context, this assignment has two main objectives: 1) tosupport thedevelopment of recommendations and action plan to enhancethe Government of Georgia's ability for future tourism development through analyzing the tourism trends and recent developments, and (2) conducting ahigh-level public infrastructure gap analysis (with estimated costing) for two to three selected pilot sites.
